The EDUCOAST 2023 Summer School – “Coastal Geosystem Services: The Case of the Ria Formosa” – took place between September 10 and 16. The Ria Formosa served as the primary location for the activities, both theoretical and practical, with the intention of actively involving the students in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training took place at the IPMA, I.P. station in Tavira and brought together a group of 17 national and international participants, the majority of whom were pursuing master’s or PhD degrees in the fields of Earth and Marine Sciences. The team of trainers included 15 teachers and researchers with experience in the areas of geodiversity, blue carbon, hydrodynamics, oceanography, and coastal dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
