A Ria Formosa representou o principal local para o desenvolvimento das atividades, tanto te\u00f3ricas quanto pr\u00e1ticas.<br><br>A forma\u00e7\u00e3o decorreu na esta\u00e7\u00e3o IPMA, I.P. de Tavira e reuniu um grupo de 17 participantes nacionais e internacionais, sendo a maioria deles estudantes de mestrado ou doutoramento nas \u00e1reas das Ci\u00eancias da Terra e do Mar. The Ria Formosa served as the primary location for the activities, both theoretical and practical, with the intention of actively involving the students in the process.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The training took place at the IPMA, I.P. station in Tavira and brought together a group of 17 national and international participants, the majority of whom were pursuing master&#8217;s or PhD degrees in the fields of Earth and Marine Sciences. Hor\u00e1rio: manh\u00e3+tarde.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Este est\u00e1gio tem por objetivo, o estudo morfol\u00f3gico, hidrodin\u00e2mico e sedimentar, dos ambientes de sapal e ilha barreira da Ria Formosa (Algarve) como contribui\u00e7\u00e3o para a gest\u00e3o costeira. Os alunos ter\u00e3o oportunidade de colocar as \u201cm\u00e3os na massa\u201d, realizando trabalho de campo e laborat\u00f3rio. O trabalho de campo inclui o levantamento topogr\u00e1fico de um perfil de praia recorrendo ao Sistema Global de Navega\u00e7\u00e3o por Sat\u00e9lite, colheita de amostras de sedimentos da praia e sapal e estimativa de altura, per\u00edodo e dire\u00e7\u00e3o das ondas. J\u00e1 no laborat\u00f3rio, realizar\u00e3o an\u00e1lises granulom\u00e9trica dos sedimentos colhidos (por crivagem), determina\u00e7\u00e3o do teor em carbonatos de c\u00e1lcio e identifica\u00e7\u00e3o da composi\u00e7\u00e3o mineral\u00f3gica da areia \u00e0 lupa binocular. Haver\u00e1 ainda uma sess\u00e3o dedicada ao processamento de dados e a sua discuss\u00e3o.
